Founding MGM Construction in 1990, Martin McCormick established himself with integrity and reliability—and those qualities steadily bring clients back. He leads by example and motivates his team to deliver on even the tightest deadlines.
Martin definitely knows the industry. He’s spent his entire adult life working in construction and got his hands dirty in almost every type and phase of the construction process. As a fifth-generation McCormick in construction, building is in his blood.
McCormick’s expertise includes highway work, bridge construction, sewer and infrastructure installations, tunnels, and foundations. He reinforces that work with extensive general construction experience and construction material manufacturing and supply knowledge.
As a proud Butler Builder®, McCormick supports the Erie, PA buildership, and has for over 30 years. His efforts to advance the practical use of metal building systems have been instrumental in thousands of successful commercial and industrial projects.
In fact, MGM General Construction has over 4,000 designed, built, renovated, expanded, and completed projects. McCormick’s philosophy to “lead by example” guarantees MGM remains one of Erie’s favorite general contractors.
With over 45 years in construction, his streamlined processes and innovative building solutions helped him build an impressive construction team.

Gary Cirillo started framing homes at the young age of 16 and has worked in 40 different states—including building high-rise units in Florida and Texas. Cirillo moved back to Erie, PA in 1984 and started with MGM General Construction when it was founded in 1990.
Cirillo has over 40 years of construction experience and has been involved in all types and phases. He has completed projects like highway work, bridge construction, sewer and infrastructure installations, extensive pipe work, interior and exterior renovation and restoration work.
Now an expert in metal building systems, he has worked extensively with conventional steel buildings, masonry buildings, and pre-engineered metal buildings. Cirillo is also an accomplished heavy equipment operator and has considerable excavation experience.
Using his deep industry knowledge, Cirillo focuses on meeting deadlines and not only completing projects but completing them to the highest standards.

MGM has been a Butler Builder® since 1994, and has received multiple High Performance Builder Awards in more than 30 years since.
In 2004, MGM celebrated 10 years as a Butler Builder. Carrying on that tradition, in 2019 MGM happily accepted an award for a quarter century of work—the 25 Year Builder Award.
